He
has over 8 years experience in marketing research.Amit is widely traveled and
his experience ranges from Zimbabwe, Eastern European block, Cyprus, India to
Egypt. He has a wide array of experience in research methodologies and products
and services across continents.
Amit
started his research career in Zimbabwe in 1992 after doing his H.N.D.
Thereafter he has worked in leading research companies in India in both the
social research and marketing research arena. He was last in India with DM&B
/ Nielsen India (Now A.C. Nielsen India).
In
1996, Amit moved to AMER Nielsen research, Cyprus where he was looking after the
retail audits and consumer research in the Eastern European markets.
The
following year, Amit moved to Egypt in AMER World Research. In AMER Egypt, he
was responsible for customized consumer research both local and international.
He, in 1998 left AMER Egypt to head Market Insight Egypt.
In
mid 1998 Amit joined Inas Abdel Rahman to form Directions Marketing Research
& Services.
